Donations Assistant
Located in Surrey on the site of BC’s second largest hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation is currently seeking an individual with excellent computer, communication and organizational skills to fill the part-time position of Donations Assistant.
The Donations Assistant, reporting to the Manager, Database Systems, will work as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely processing of donations, preparation of thank you letters and receipts, data input into Raiser’s Edge, and all activities related to maintaining current revenue information.
The ideal candidate will have:
• strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• excellent interpersonal skills
• and the ability to work in a team managed atmosphere
Required skills include:
• proficiency in MS Office
• strong attention to detail
• minimum of two years experience in an office setting
• fundraising education and/or experience an asset
• Raiser’s Edge experience an asset
